APCO NRG Loop ParaKite

The NRG Loop is a parakite for pilots who already handle their wing confidently at speed. It is deliberately small and direct: just under 13 to 15 m² projected area, short lines, little inertia. If you are moving to a parakite for the first time, the APCO Bunny Hop is the better choice – its Gear-Shift system lets you set it up far more forgivingly.

What it is built for

Speedflying on slopes and in the mountains, soaring in strong wind and on dunes, dynamic flying close to the terrain. It still carries you when a classic paraglider would long since have too much area.

How it flies

The usable window runs from 27 km/h at slowest flight to over 80 km/h. Trimmed it sits between 39 and 49 km/h, with the trimmer released at 58 km/h; minimum sink is 1.4 m/s at a suitable wing loading. In practice: you can soar cleanly in light wind and still make headway when it blows.

What is inside

The A.C.T. four-line architecture supports the profile across the whole speed range – brake response stays linear even when things get fast. The Trim-Lock system mechanically secures the main toggles to the A-risers so the trimmed position holds without giving up steering authority. Added to that are FLEXON battens along the leading edge for easier inflation and 42 g/m² zero-porosity ripstop nylon.

Which size suits you

What counts is your take-off weight – pilot, harness, reserve, helmet, clothing and equipment combined.

Within a range: faster and more direct means the smaller size, more reserve in light wind the larger one.

The smallest size 14 (XS) is available from us on request. APCO has not released measured data for it so far. We do not estimate those figures – we agree the intended use and your weight with you beforehand.

Colours

Red, Blue, Azure and Devil. We confirm which colour is available at short notice before dispatch.

What comes with it

1:2 four-line risers with control system and pack bag. Optional: Gear-Shift kits for 1:3 or 1:4, Light Backpack 80 l, Light Clinch Bag and Compression Bag.

Matching harness

APCO Hike, Ozone Atak 2, Dudek Catch and Dudek Mia. Which one suits you depends on your height, reserve system and intended use.

Warranty and advice

APCO grants 3 years or 250 flight hours. Before you buy we go through harness, reserve, take-off weight and planned use together – with a wing of this character that is not a formality.
