Manual start or dual start – what is the difference? +
With manual start the Moster 185 Plus starts with the Soft Starter System 3S and the engine weighs 14.3 kg. Dual start adds an electric starter; the engine then weighs 15.6 kg and keeps the pull starter.
How much thrust does the Bravo FL-105 with Moster 185 Plus have and what does it use? +
78 kg static thrust with the 130 cm propeller and 75 kg with 125 cm, each at 8,500 rpm. Vittorazi states 3.0 l/h at 30 kg static thrust; the tank holds 12 litres.
How is the paramotor delivered? +
By freight, because frame and cage are too wide for parcel shipping. Freight is never free of charge; the rates for Germany and the EU are shown in the shipping tab and in the cart.
What approval does the Bravo FL-105 have? +
Bravo provides a Romanian type approval: Certificat de omologare No. 042 dated 16 November 2023, issued by Aeroclubul României under RACR-CCO ULM.
Bravo FL-105 with Moster 185 Plus
The FL-105 is Bravo’s paramotor built around the 25 HP Vittorazi Moster 185 Plus.
At 24.3 kg, the manufacturer describes it as lightweight yet powerful enough for launches when the wind is less favourable.
The four-section cage has no welds, and a hand-woven net protects the propeller. According to Bravo, the dismantled unit is no larger than a paraglider and is easy to transport.
The main frame is made from CNC-bent 6060 aluminium tubing.
Small offset washers compensate for engine torque. They are simple, lightweight and quick to adjust. According to the manufacturer, they help the paramotor track accurately in straight flight.
Swing arms may look simple, but they make a substantial difference to handling and comfort.
Bravo says it tested numerous lengths and shapes to suit almost all pilots. The arms are CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium.
The connection between the swing arms and the frame is safety-critical and is therefore designed to be particularly strong.
The arms rotate around a CNC-machined bushing welded directly to the frame, connecting them to a load-bearing part of the paramotor.
Simple, neat and easy to use: the cage connectors are made from stainless steel and fitted with anodised aluminium pins.
This keeps the gaps between cage sections small and smooth, allowing the lines to slide over them cleanly during launch.
According to Bravo, the main frame is the result of months of development and flight testing.
The aim was to use as few tubes as possible while maintaining a strong, durable frame.
There are no side tubes alongside the fuel tank. This leaves the filler cap easily accessible for quick refuelling.
Type approval and load testing
The Bravo FL105 holds Romanian type approval: Certificat de omologare No. 042, dated 16 November 2023, issued by Aeroclubul României under the Romanian ultralight regulations (RACR-CCO ULM).
According to the manufacturer, testing included the swing-arm, strap and carabiner assembly at 7 G to failure, along with the engine and fuel-tank mounts, using the certified Dudek Comfort Low harness.
