Cage and passenger harness
The safety cage has a roll bar that carries the wing attachment. According to AirOne the cage is roomy and protects the occupants if the trike tips over onto its top or its side.
The passenger harness is designed specifically for this trike. A certified webbing system independently backs up the suspension of passenger, pilot and wing. The harness is fixed to the cage so that the passenger cannot fall out even if the trike turns over.
The passenger sits so that their feet cannot touch the ground, which matters most on landing. The feet rest on dedicated footrests.
Transport by car
According to the manufacturer, the Unique is easy to take apart and pack into a car even as a tandem. No trailer is needed.
