According to BGD, the Epic 2 Motor is a hybrid wing: it can be flown with or without a motor and differs from the Epic 2 only in its risers. It is supplied with paramotor risers with trimmers and a wide speed range.
With the trimmers closed it is EN-B certified and can be flown in free flight.

| ALULA simulations | BGD developed the wing with its own structural and aerodynamic simulation program ALULA, simulating hundreds of variants instead of building each prototype. |
| Chord Cut Billow (CCB) | According to BGD, two chordwise seams on the top-surface panels of the leading edge take up the ballooning of the panels and reduce wrinkles in the top surface. |
| High or low hangpoint ready | According to BGD, brake pulley loops, tip-steering pulleys and Snap Locks are fitted for paramotors with high and with low hangpoints. |
| Motor risers | According to BGD, the paramotor risers have trimmers and a redesigned geometry. The trimmer webbing and brake pulleys are replaceable. |
| Progressive stability | BGD designs its wings with its own Parasim simulation program so that the centre is stable and solid and the tips become progressively softer. |
