Design features
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Chord Cut Billow (CCB) | According to BGD, two chordwise seams on the top-surface panels of the leading edge take up the ballooning of the panels and reduce wrinkles in the top surface. |
| Snap Locks | According to BGD, Snap Locks are lightweight attachments for the brake handles on the risers. A magnet and a locking system hold the handle; it releases only when pulled down towards the pilot. |
| Strong shark nose | According to BGD, the wing has a very pronounced shark-nose leading edge that improves stability at all speeds. |
| Weight-optimised ribs | BGD removed unnecessary material from the ribs without reducing their strength and rigidity. The position and size of the holes depend on the local loads. |
