According to BGD, the Luna 3 is a reflex paramotor wing for intermediate and advanced pilots, with a high top speed and a wide speed range. BGD recommends the larger sizes with lower wing loading for intermediate pilots and the smaller sizes with higher wing loading for experienced pilots.
It is supplied with separate brake and tip-steering handles; experienced pilots can attach the tip-steering lines to the brake handle for 2D steering. With full speed bar and trimmers open, the size 18 at the top of its weight range reaches 79 km/h and the size 23 reaches 75 km/h, according to BGD.
