According to Dudek, the Solo evolved from the Cabrio tandem trike wing: a coherent, stable canopy with plenty of lift, balanced for passive safety, performance and easy, precise steering, with safety at the level of typical B-category wings. It fills willingly at launch and rises without lagging or overshooting over a short distance. Reflex elements and Shark Nose, airfoil geometry adjustable with the trimmers and a dual control system. For recreational and cross-country pilots; the manufacturer now lists the Solo among its out-of-production wings.
