APCO F1 MKII paramotor wing - fast and agile performance wing for expe
We check what fits your flying style, setup and requirements - especially for wings, motors, harnesses, reserves and complete sets.
The APCO F1 MKII is a fast, efficient cross-country paramotor wing for experienced pilots and classic competition flying. Its full reflex profile combines high aspect ratio with performance and efficiency in a coherent, manageable package for real-world use.
Mohawk technology acts like a rudder and improves roll stability and autonomous spiral recovery. Flow Aligned Ribs follow the natural airflow and increase performance and stability throughout the speed range.
The redesigned riser, speedbar and trim system offers a wide usable speed range: reasonable take-off and landing speeds and up to 80 km/h in accelerated flight. Closed trimmers support thermalling and glide performance; opening the trimmers adds approximately 15 km/h without the speed bar.
The new risers are simpler, lighter and shorter. Split brake handles separate the main brake from tip steering, giving the pilot precise control and direct reactions without sacrificing the wing’s roll stability.
Weight was reduced where possible without compromising APCO durability. Lightweight materials in the bottom surface and ribs, together with the double-siliconized top surface, support easy nil-wind launches and long service life.
The F1 MKII is intended for experienced paramotor pilots in cross-country and competition flying. Size, DGAC approval, all-up weight, trim setting, engine power and pilot experience must be checked together before flight.

Characteristics
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Take-off | Slower than expected for a wing of this class; best results are achieved with trimmers fully closed thanks to the efficient reflex profile. |
| Landing | Approach and flare like a competition-class paraglider; an efficient flare gradually converts speed and kinetic energy into a soft landing. |
| Handling | Accurate and extremely agile; split-line brake handle and Mohawk increase agility without compromising roll stability. |
| Performance | High aspect ratio and high-performance design with a wide, usable and safe real-life speed range. |
| Pilot feedback | Positioned by the manufacturer as a precise performance wing for experienced pilots and XC/competition use. |
| Construction | Light materials in the bottom surface and ribs reduce weight; the double-siliconized top surface supports long service life. |
